It is filled with 64 pages of top notch images, sketches, finished art, different mediums, some in color, some B/W (but even those are scanned in full color --ala artist editions).
Comic size, card stock covers, perfect bound, signed, and includes a limited full color rare bookmark by Soltero, of Wanto, age 44, who died at the Knoxville Zoo.
Now available at Bud's Art Books, most likely under new arrivals.
But that's not all---you also get some art by Arthur Adams (of those nice Spider-Man covers), Gilbert Hernandez (Love and Rockets), Peter Kuper (Mad magazine), Thomas Yeates (of Tarzan and Prince Valiant), and Kevin Nowlan (Batman, Dr, Strange).
The theme of this book is gorillas, the book is also a fundraiser for gorilla conservation, and partial proceeds for tree planting effort as well.
Testimonials and blurbs from Frank Frazetta, Dr. Seuss, and the late great, Pop Artist, Wayne Thiebaud.

The descendant of Usagi is cool, quick to respond with words---kinda like a teenager that he is.
He is Different than the Usagi we know, who is calmer in his own way.
The animated show is worth watching because it is well done and with lots of love to the characters, and setting.
There are a couple of bits were we see Stan's work, his actual drawings.
The music also works well. Congrats to Stan Sakai. It is worth watching, great for the whole family.
The two of them were part of the Pop scene, James Bama with his famous Aurora Kit box art, and Neal Adams with revitalizing Batman and other characters throughout his career.
Bama also painted for Men's magazine, and other commercial art, such as the Doc Savage book covers, but then he started painting western and Native American art. That was a high point for him.
Check out the Samurai Rabbit on Netflix.
Different than the comic but worth watching. Some glimpses
of Stan's work here and there.
Stay safe, be cool.

Garry brought a very fine line to superhero art. The figures he created were well drawn, in a semi-realistic, illustrative style, and he took time with his backgrounds and special effects.
He applied contrast to his pages, in a very effective manner.
It is being reported that Gary Leach has died.
He was an excellent artist, with detailed, accurate, figure work and backgrounds.

Well, Clint Eastwood is a musician and music fan, and then he called
Roberta to use her song (First Time..) for a movie. Roberta wanted to re-record it as
she thought it was too slow, and Clint thought that was a bad idea and the song became a hit, unchanged.
Three years had gone by with little fanfare, and then, 1972, Roberta won several awards.

Frank's birthday was last month. He died over ten years ago. I knew Ellie and Frank. They were good friends.
He revitalized Conan, and brought him to a bigger, and newer, audience because of his covers in the 60s. Along with Jack Davis, Frazetta brought the magic of caricature to the movie poster, including images of Peter Sellers and others.
